The MACCABI NSW Basketball Club operates from February to December and offers basketball for Junior (<18) Boys and Girls, senior men and women. The object of the club is to promote, encourage and co-ordinate Jewish basketball in NSW.

Teams are entered in competitions organised by the City of Sydney Basketball Association, with games being played at Alexandria and Steele Park, Marrickville.

The goal of the Basketball Club is to enhance the basketball skill levels of it's members and to this end, all teams wherever possible are coached by appropriately accredited basketball coaches.

All teams participating in competition have scheduled weekly training sessions, and the club also encourages non-playing members wishing to attend.
